Eyetease and Verifone Media have just announced they will be extending their #TeaseLondon competition for just one more week, and giving even more companies the opportunity to win £160,000 worth of free advertising on over 400 HD taxitop screens in London! The winner of the competition will receive a huge outdoor advertising campaign that will be seen by Londoners over 16 million times across hundreds of taxis this Summer. Previous campaigns on the iTaxitop network have resulted in a 25% sales uplift for the participating brand.

 

 

The competition is open to startups and SMEs and asks entrants to tweet their pitch using the hashtag #TeaseLondon. To enter, companies simply tweet explaining why they deserve to win £160,000 of advertising and tag their posts #TeaseLondon. Entries can include video, photo or just text but Eyetease and Verifone encourage entrants to get creative!

The competition has even seen fans tweeting support for their favourite startup to win! The organisers have also been delighted to see fantastic support for #TeaseLondon from London’s tech community, including institutions such as Google Campus, TechHub, the Trampery, and London & Partners.

 

Competition judges Richard Corbett, CEO of Eyetease and Jim Cohen, Sales Director at Verifone will announce the shortlist on June 13th. The shortlisted companies will be invited to pitch to the judges on June 20th  and the winner will be announced that week in conjunction with London Technology Week. The winning startup will receive one the largest value prizes ever given away on Twitter: a huge £160,000 value campaign seen more than 16 million times, on one of the most powerful outdoor advertising technologies in London!

The Rules

-        Entries open May 18th and close June 6th EXTENDED UNTIL 5PM ON JUNE 13TH  2016!

-       To be eligible, entrants must be considered a new startup or SME

-       To enter, tweet explaining why you should win this prize. Tweets can be text, or include photo/video – you decide! Entries valid as long as hashtag #TeaseLondon is included

-       Tweets don’t have to tag @eyetease or @verifonemedia or @taximediauk to be eligible

-       There is no limit to the number of entries you submit, but we encourage you to tweet within reason!

-       Shortlist will be announced on or around June 13th. The shortlist will be invited to meet the judges on June 20th, where they will have the opportunity to present a short pitch. Shortlist must be available to pitch afternoon of 20/06/2016.

-       The winner will be announced that week as part of London Technology Week. Shortlist will receive more info.

-       Creative for the winner’s competition is to be supplied by the winner
